The Remote Tactical Operations Center (RTOC)

The Remote Tactical Operations Center (RTOC) is a mobile server designed for processing and displaying a wide array of standard video formats. The system processes video from surveillance platforms such as UAS, surveillance cameras (e.g., EO/IR, CCTV), and radars.

Specifications:

  • Dimensions: 39” x 25” x 30” (L x W x H)
  • Inputs: Up to 16 Digital Visual Interface (DVI) video inputs, 6 x Single Mode Fiber Optic lines, 48 port gigabit network switch
  • Outputs: Up to 16 DVI outputs, Analog to Digital video conversion, TCP/IP video decoders
  • CPU: 2 x 1U Server Blades, 1 Keyboard Monitor Trackpad control both computers and view DVI video feeds

The connector panel at the back of the RTOC allows for easy connection of fiber optic, Ethernet, power, and video feeds. These inputs can then be either displayed on the provided KVM monitor or output to an external video monitor. The STARA Portable Command Workstation is a perfect match for extending the RTOC’s viewing capabilities and improving sensor controllability.
